RECOVERY

Open from June 11, 2021 to July 10, 2021

CYNTHIA CHAPMAN, MATT BAHEN, GEOFF FARNSWORTH

Undoubtedly the pandemic has had a global socioeconomic impact of epic proportions. Recovery will be a process; it will take time, patience, and strength. Creativity will be our beacon, shining a path towards better tomorrows.

“‘Beauty is very much broader than just to the eye. It is our whole, positive response to life. An artist is fortunate in that his work is the inner contemplation of beauty, of perfection in life. we cannot make anything perfectly, but with inner contemplation of perfection we can suggest it.’ A quote by Agnes Martin” Cynthia Chapman, 2021

“I am primarily influenced by literature. My work strives to interpret the power of metaphor and allegory with paint while constructing individual narrative that remain in a state of perpetual tension.” Matt Bahen, 2021

“My paintings explore a relationship between figurative and abstraction in order to meld unconscious probing and stylistic innovation with a meditative figural base.” Geoff Farnsworth, 2021
