Niagara Plein Air Artists is a local group whose members are passionate about creating art “En Plein Air” or out on location. Niagara Plein Air Artists is thrilled that 13th Street Winery is hosting their 2nd Exhibition and sale in their Bakery Gallery.

Niagara Plein Air Artists is a local group whose members are passionate about creating art “En Plein Air” or out on location. Together for its 4th year, this informal group of artists meet each Friday at specific locations and create works of art in all types of mediums.

Seasoned artists whose works are sold in galleries and retail venues come out for inspiration and to hone their skills. Aspiring artists work on developing latent talents and skill mastery in their endeavour to become the next emerging artist. Members also include art enthusiasts and hobbyists who find joy in exploring their “inner creativity” in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Painting the beauty of the Niagara Region provides such joy and reverence and not only generates a positive experience, but provides a safe space for artistic exploration. Locations, both public and private vary each week throughout Niagara from April-October. Provincial and Regional parks, trails, wetlands, gardens, various historical and art museums and the many Niagara Parks settings provide spectacular vistas in the Falls area. Private venues including farms, wineries, Inns, Niagara’s Buddhist Temple, the Monet Garden at Pillar to Post, and private homes and businesses enthusiastically welcome the group.

Niagara Plein Air Artists is thrilled that 13th Street Winery is hosting their 2nd Exhibition and sale in their Bakery Gallery, the original 13th Street Winery Art Gallery.

Niagara Plein Air Artists is open to any mature artist or art enthusiast interested in painting on location in Niagara. For more information, Niagara Plein Air Artists can be found on FaceBook or contact Cindy Sheridan at cindy@realtyniagara.ca
