Book your space now! Tour the grounds of 13th Street Winery and discover the sculptures by Karoly Veress. Artist Karoly Veress (1935-2020) was born in the rugged mountains of Transylvania. Veress studied literature at the University of Budapest and studied Art at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. For Veress sculpting is more than a discovery; it is an explosion of exploring human emotions, not through words, but through form.

This event is brought to you by Expression Project, supporting local Ontario Artists

This year as part of the Expression Project, the 13th Street Winery Expression Award was established in memory of artist Karoly Veress.
This award will be granted to a promising young artist enrolled in the OCAD U Sculpture/Installation program to help launch their professional career.
The award recognizes excellence in contemporary abstract sculpture with a preference for work produced in bronze and will be awarded annually beginning in 2021
